The best sealer to use to seal pavers is a water repellent silane siloxane sealer. This type of sealer will work below the surface to keep the pavers protected from water damage, mold and mildew. Silane siloxane water repellent will repel surface water and other liquids without changing the look of the pavers.

If you want a matte finish, satin sheen or high gloss, you will need to use an acrylic lacquer coating. Unlike sealers, acrylic coatings will leave behind a surface film designed to enhance the appearance of the pavers.
