Epoxies, Polyapsartics and Aliphatic coats are the most popular types of industrial coatings on the market. There are a few key differences however between the three types of coatings:

1. Epoxies are used in a lot of industrial applications but are not used in a lot of commercial. While they offer durability they are not as resistant to oil or gasoline as a Polyaspartic or aliphatic.
2. Polyaspartics are more popular than epoxies because of their strength and resistance, and because they are used a lot in Chip Floor Systems. Polyaspartics are resistant to oil but gasoline may cause hazy spots if left on for long periods of time.
3. Aliphatics are the most popular type of coating in an industrial setting because they are resistant to most everything – oil, gasonline, acids and chemicals. They offer superior durability over other coatings and have a long lifespan.
